On the 25th and 26th of January 2025, the prestigious Eastern Province and Border Mid-AM Championships were held at the picturesque Humewood Golf Club in Port Elizabeth. This event brought together exceptional women golfers across South Africa to compete in four simultaneous tournaments, showcasing their remarkable talent and skill.
The competition was intense, with standout performer Bobbi Brown securing the title after impressive rounds of 68 and 71 on the first day, followed by a determined 77 in challenging high-wind conditions on the final day. Congratulations to all participants and prize winners; we are proud of your achievements!
A heartfelt thank you goes out to Philip and Poppie Horowitz, Ilze Botha (President), Janine van der Merwe (Vice President), and all the volunteers who assisted with registration and scorekeeping. Special recognition is also due to Brendon Timm and his remarkable team at Humewood for creating a memorable event.
